A seismic retrofit and automatic fire Protection System project. Strengthening of the 1925 cast concrete structure to meet current structural code. Epoxy bolting steel brackets that are then attached to new structural steel struts and stiffeners and supplemental wood framing. Also the installation wood framing and plywood shear panels at the perimeter wall to ceiling junctures and on top of the existing roof sheathing. The existing ceiling and roof framing are now stiffened and connected to the concrete walls with the addition of a number of structural components to enhance collateral strength and and moment energy dampening.

The project also required at new 4 inch water line hot tapped into the city water main and a completely new TPO roof system over 4 inches of Poly-Iso rigid insulation.
